FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, CA is seeking a Senior Principal Applications Engineer / Technical Lead to serve as the primary technical advisor for strategic semiconductor customers and lead wafer probe solutions.

The role drives customer success across evaluation, qualification, deployment, and production ramps, mentoring engineers and coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact applications in SiPh, CPO, AI/HPC, memory, and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical field.
• Experience in semiconductor test, capital equipment, probe cards, wafer probe systems, or device characterization.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical engagements and customer escalations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to engage both engineers and executives.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for strategic semiconductor customers.
• Lead customer engagements from evaluation through qualification, production release, and HVM ramp.
• Present FormFactor's technology roadmap, product capabilities, and solutions to customers and industry stakeholders.
• Support product demonstrations, benchmarking, acceptance testing, and customer evaluations.
• Mentor Applications Engineers and drive cross-functional collaboration across teams.
