Job summary

Apple is seeking a senior level design engineer to drive technical engagements between Apple and silicon/IP suppliers on groundbreaking technologies. You will work across micro-architecture specification, pre-silicon activities, post-silicon bring-up, validation, and qualification for high-volume manufacturing.

You will apply deep knowledge of digital, analog and memory IC design, and lead front-end and back-end tool chains, including place-and-route, synthesis and design verification.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and 20 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in digital and mixed-signal IC design and design automation tools.
• SOC implementation skills.
• Hands-on experience with front-end and back-end digital tool suites (place & route, synthesis, verification).

Responsibilities

• Drive and lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon/IP suppliers for groundbreaking technologies.
• Lead cross-functional teams across silicon development activities from specification to qualification.
• Oversee pre-silicon, emulation/verification, bring-up, validation and high-volume manufacturing readiness.
