Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager Silicon Design Engineering to drive timing closure methodologies for SoC and IP blocks and lead STA closure for complex designs. You will collaborate with IP, Domain, CAD, and Methodology teams to tackle challenges and ensure on-time delivery.

Remote work is possible. The role requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and 4+ years of related experience with deep knowledge of physical design, timing, and EDA tools. Supervises a team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Four years of related experience; alternate combination accepted.
• Strong knowledge of timing, floorplanning, CTS, routing, and timing closure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and establish timing closure methodologies for SoC and IP blocks.
• Oversee STA closure for complex SoCs with chiplet and 3D stack interfaces.
• Collaborate with IP, Domain, CAD, and Methodology teams to address technical challenges.
• Lead clocking architecture, target setting, and performance sign-offs.
• Support Post-Silicon debugging of timing issues.
