Starkey is seeking a Sr Signal Processing Research Engineer II to lead advanced DSP and machine learning research for AI-enabled hearing technology. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate breakthroughs into commercial products and patents, driving impact across global markets.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
Senior Engineer II: minimum 3 years of applicable experience for candidates with a Ph.D.
Advanced knowledge of digital signal processing and its applications required.
Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and C/C++ required.

Responsibilities

Research digital signal processing algorithms for hearing aids.
Propose the research project plan and review literature, products, and patents.
Prototype algorithms using simulation and research platforms.
Evaluate candidates via lab, field tests and benchmarking; select final algorithm.
Generate the research report and transfer results to product development.
