Job summary

Coda Octopus Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Signal Processing/Algorithm Engineer for our Salt Lake City Office. This full-time role focuses on developing and implementing advanced signal processing algorithms for sonar and related systems.

Ideal candidates have a degree or equivalent and at least 5 years in signal processing and algorithm development, strong maths, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary design team. Proficiency in C++/C#, CUDA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent and have at least 5 years’ experience in signal processing/algorithm development.
• Strong background in mathematics and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a multi-disciplined design and development team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high motivation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and define requirements for new algorithms or processing stages.
• Research and develop algorithms for a wide variety of signal and imaging problems.
• Research and develop signal processing, including beamforming for sonar applications.
• Develop C++/C# and CUDA versions of algorithms for embedded, real-time systems.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Work under ISO9001 release control; contribute to future algorithm techniques.
