Job summary

Celestica seeks a Signal Integrity Engineer to drive design guidelines across architecture, board layout, bring-up, debugging, and qualification. You will perform testing, simulation, validation, and qualification of systems, and collaborate with manufacturing, project leadership and customers to ensure robust product development.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in a signal integrity role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Models high-density I/O's on PCBs, packages, connectors and probe cards relating to reflections, bandwidth and crosstalk.
  • Lead design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects across domains; participate in planning and scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge in simulation tools (Hspice, Sigrity, ADS, Ansys SIwave, HFSS 3D).
  • Expertise in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity fundamentals.
  • Package and PCB modelling experience required.
  • Perform transmission line & Via modelling and validate outcomes.
  • Review layout files for SI/PI problems and propose practical solutions.
  • Simulate memory interfaces for boards/packages and High Speed Serial IO interfaces.
  • Decoupling capacitor optimization and Loop inductance analysis.
  • May be a recognized expert in one or more areas.
