Lightmatter, Inc. is looking for a Signal Integrity engineer to drive next-generation data center products from concept to development.

You will join the SI, PI and Packaging team to influence architecture, design and analysis through lab bring-up to meet SI requirements. Responsibilities include planning SI tasks for high-speed interfaces (PCIe, UCIe, SerDes), analyzing channel behavior, performing eye-diagram and jitter simulations, and collaborating with hardware designers and PCB layout

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field with ≥5 years of related experience.
• Robust knowledge in signal integrity analysis for high-speed interfaces.
• Proficiency with SI analysis tools (Ansys Siwave, HFSS, Keysight ADS).
• Strong understanding of transmission line theory, impedance matching, and equalization.
• Experience with PCB design/layout for high-speed interfaces (routing, vias).
• Familiarity with SerDes and related signaling protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute signal integrity tasks for high-speed interfaces (PCIe, UCIe, SerDes).
• Analyze high-speed channel characteristics (S-parameters, insertion loss, return loss, crosstalk).
• Perform SI analysis and simulations (eye diagrams, jitter, equalization).
• Collaborate with hardware designers and PCB layout engineers.
• Assist in impedance matching, termination, and routing techniques.
• Conduct SI measurements with lab equipment to validate performance.
• Present findings in design reviews and communicate guidelines to stakeholders.
