Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking a Senior Signal Integrity / Power Integrity Electrical Engineer to ensure high-speed and mixed-signal PCB performance across MFC programs. You will lead pre- and post-layout analyses, define stack-ups and routing constraints, and support board sign-off while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires 5+ years in SI/PI with expertise in industry SI/PI tools and high-speed interfaces, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in signal integrity, power integrity, high-speed digital PCB design, or related electrical analysis role.
• Hands-on experience with at least one SI/PI tool: HyperLynx, Ansys SIwave/HFSS/Q3D, or Cadence Sigrity.
• Experience performing pre- and post-layout SI/PI analysis with documented sign-off responsibility on PCB designs.
• Knowledge of PCB stack-up design, controlled-impedance routing, and PDN design.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (DDR3/4/5, PCIe Gen3+, SerDes, Ethernet, USB 3.x).
• U.S. Citizenship is required and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-layout SI/PI analysis on high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, SerDes, Ethernet, USB).
• Define and review PCB stack-ups, controlled-impedance routing, and via strategies.
• Perform post-layout SI/PI verification including S-parameter extraction and eye-diagram analysis.
• Develop and validate PDN designs to meet voltage and noise budgets.
• Assist with lab measurements and correlation (VNA, TDR, BERT, high-bandwidth probes).
• Contribute to design standards, templates, and best-practice guidelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as SI/PI point of contact during reviews.
