Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Short-Form Video Editor to own the end-to-end production of brand videos, from concept and storyboarding to editing and publishing across our channels. You will shape raw SME footage into native, retention-optimized cuts, apply motion graphics with After Effects, and integrate AI-assisted editing while keeping a human, on-brand voice.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience for brand content.
• Portfolio showing short-form editing (15–90s formats) with platform-native style.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects for motion graphics.
• Experience with AI-assisted video editing and production tools.
• Understanding of AIO/GEO principles and social content strategy.
• Motion graphics and typography skills: lower thirds, kinetic typography, data visuals.
• Ability to turn briefs into short-form video concepts and shot lists with minimal hand-holding.
• Experience translating technical or B2B topics into engaging content.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of short-form video from planning to publishing.
• Develop topic pipelines and storyboards from blogs, launches, webinars, and exec talks.
• Shape raw SME footage into native, retention-optimized edits with strong pacing.
• Integrate AI tools into production while maintaining creative quality.
• Collaborate with brand marketing, product marketing, and executive teams.
• Track engagement metrics and iterate formats based on data.
