Job description

We are looking for a Shopify expert with strong experience and knowledge of creating, managing, and maintaining a Shopify website for our brand store. Must possess hands-on experience with integrating Shopify APIs, customizing and modifying Shopify themes, and writing clean, efficient code. The candidate should be able to take full ownership of website management, including setting up and leading a team to handle various aspects of website operations.

The candidate must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Support is needed during USA hours, i.e., late evenings and nights. This position is fully remote, and the candidate can work from home anywhere in India.

Role & responsibilities

• Setup and development of Shopify stores from scratch.
• Building custom Shopify themes and modifying existing themes based on project scope.
• Ongoing website maintenance, including functional updates to the eCommerce storefront.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting bugs and QA issues.
• Integrating third-party APIs, datasets, and applications into Shopify storefronts.
• Taking ownership of full website management.
• Understanding and integrating with Amazon.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Shopify theme development, including editing Liquid templates, adding sections, and modifying product and collection pages.
• Proficiency in Liquid, Shopify's templating language.
• Experience building high-volume Shopify Plus themes and integrations, especially with stores having over 2,000 SKUs.
• Ability to work independently.
• Leadership qualities to build and manage a team in the future.
• Strong communication skills.
