Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior full-stack developer to support multiple high-volume ecommerce sites. Primarily frontend-focused, you will work across the stack with Shopify Plus, React, Node.js, and TypeScript, collaborating with marketing, CMS, and fulfillment integrations.

The role involves writing clean frontend code, mobile-first UI design, code reviews, and documentation within an Agile environment. Remote or on-site options, hybrid team across North America.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience plus a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong expertise in React and Next.js.
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Expert-level HTML/CSS skills with build tools such as SASS, LESS, Vite, and Webpack.
• Deep experience with React-based frameworks including Next, Remix, Fastify, and Hydrogen.
• Advanced Shopify development skills including Shopify CLI, Liquid templates, custom Shopify apps, UI extensions, and Shopify Functions.
• Advanced git knowledge including rebasing and branching strategies.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD principles, OAuth providers such as Auth0, and general cybersecurity concepts.
• Familiarity with backend tools including AWS, Docker, shell operations, and SQL/ORM development.
• Basic experience with unit testing, functional testing, monitoring, and enterprise CRM/ERP tools such as Salesforce and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Write organized, testable, and efficient frontend code with inline documentation
• Translate user journeys into effective mobile-first UI designs aligned with brand standards
• Participate in code reviews and the QA feedback cycle
• Produce supporting documentation as part of each deliverable
• Operate within an Agile/Scrum methodology using the Atlassian tool suite
• Evaluate and adopt emerging frontend technologies as they become relevant
• Contribute to full-stack tasks as needed alongside a hybrid team distributed across North America
