garden3d is seeking a contract-based Senior Shopify Developer to join our Design and Development Team. You will craft pixel-perfect storefronts using Liquid and headless Shopify, collaborating with designers on complex ecommerce projects.

You’ll work across client projects, delivering high-quality, accessible interfaces while integrating with CMSs and payment platforms. Remote-friendly role with a focus on performance and scalable components.

Qualifications

• 8+ years writing frontend code with strong Lighthouse/ Core Web Vitals focus.
• Deep Shopify expertise: custom themes and headless storefronts.
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern CSS approaches (Tailwind, CSS Modules).
• Experience merging Shopify with Sanity, Contentful, or similar CMS.
• Familiarity with hosting platforms like Vercel or Netlify; SEO minded.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leads and designers to meet ecommerce needs.
• Build storefronts using Liquid and headless Shopify stacks.
• Create accessible, responsive interfaces per design specs.
• Integrate storefronts with CMSs, payments, subscriptions, and APIs.
• Optimize performance and Core Web Vitals across pages.
• Develop scalable component libraries and design systems.
• Document store management and integrations.
• Participate in Agile rituals and code reviews.
