Job summary

Intellectsoft, a software development company delivering innovative solutions since 2007, is seeking a senior Shopify developer to design and maintain Shopify storefronts using Liquid, Storefront API, and Hydrogen/Remix.

You will optimize performance, implement headless commerce, collaborate with Design and Growth teams, and ensure accessibility and internationalization while building robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional web development experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to Shopify.
• Expert-level proficiency in Liquid, Online Store 2.0, sections/blocks, metafields, theme app extensions, and Shopify CLI.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Storefront API, Admin API (GraphQL preferred), App Bridge, webhooks, and app integrations for subscriptions, search, reviews, loyalty, analytics.
• Experience with headless Shopify using Hydrogen/Remix or Next.js, edge rendering and advanced caching strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the structural components of our Shopify storefronts (themes, templates, sections, app extensions).
• Develop complex Shopify features like checkout logic using Shopify Functions and manage data via GraphQL/REST APIs.
• Improve performance and SEO, optimize images, CDN usage, lazy loading, and structured data for crawlability.
• Configure Shopify Markets, multi-region catalogs, currencies, duties/taxes, and translations for internationalization.
• Collaborate with Design, Content, and Growth teams; perform code reviews; mentor junior engineers; ensure CI/CD and test coverage.
• Monitor production metrics, analyze funnels with GA4/GTM and iterate to improve CVR/AOV.
