Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager I for a Perrysburg, OH area location. The role oversees labor optimization, scheduling, and technician assignment to support up to 130 equivalent truck units.

You’ll develop teams, manage performance, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective shop operations. Responsibilities include driving efficiency, safety, quality, and asset utilization while collaborating with sales to meet service levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in operations environment or Ryder role preferred; supervisory experience 0–1 year.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities; adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and personnel at locations up to 130 truck units.
• Optimize labor mix and shift patterns for efficiency.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage performance of staff.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery targets.
• Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee shop tooling, equipment, and asset management.
