Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Senior Shipping Clerk to coordinate storage and timely shipment of products from the plant. You will ensure SAP transactions, cycle counts, and proper material handling are done accurately.

The role involves cross-training in Materials Control duties and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include processing Bills of Lading, coordinating carriers, and maintaining shipping records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years shipping experience preferred.
• Candidate must have good communication skills and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Print Bills of Lading and enter receivers in SAP.
• Schedule common carriers for daily and weekly shipments and for receiving materials.
• Maintain shipping log and handle freight claims when needed.
• Cross trained in other Materials Control duties.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and expand Bar Code Scanning as required.
