Based in Jacksonville, FL, you may be positioned for extended travel; an active Secret clearance is preferred and driving responsibilities may apply.

Qualifications

Formal two-year contractor apprenticeship program with at least six months of classroom training covering structural design and fabrication of metal objects.
Four years of U.S. military service with a technical rating such as Mechanist Mate, Structural Mechanic, Machinery Repair, or Steel Worker.
An associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical/Structural Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

Perform complex mechanical, sub-assembly, rack and chassis assembly.
Demonstrate superior workmanship in mission-critical environments; lead teams.
Organize and schedule jobs for on-time completion; supervise site activities.
Work overtime as required by management and safeguard equipment, tools, and inventory.
