Job summary

M.C. Dean Maritime Division seeks skilled installers to support cabling and equipment installations on Navy ships and submarines. You will read Navy drawings, operate test equipment, and neatly dress cabling while maintaining high workmanship in critical environments.

Travel to multiple shipyards may be required. Qualifications include 4+ years of experience, completion of a related apprenticeship or military technical rating, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training or apprenticeship in a related field
• Experience with U.S. Navy C4ISR installations preferred
• Security clearance eligibility required: Secret or higher

Responsibilities

• Support cabling, equipment, and device installations
• Read and interpret Navy ship installation drawings and blueprints
• Operate installation tools and test equipment
• Attach fiber and copper connectors and dress installations neatly
• Demonstrate leadership and maintain high workmanship in mission-critical environments
• Overtime as needed; manage tools and inventory
• Plan jobs to meet on-time completion
