Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a senior professional to lead Alteration Installation Teams for C4ISR systems on ships and submarines.

You will oversee design, installation, testing, inspection, logistics, and completion of complex shipboard projects for US Navy surface ships, including multi-system coordination and scheduling. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7+ years of related experience, with at least 4 years in project leadership, plus the ability to travel to various shipyards

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct work experience with surface ship C4ISR installations.
• 8+ years managing design, installation, testing, inspection, logistics and completion of C4ISR on US Navy ships.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 4 years as manager of shipboard installation projects with supervision, scheduling, proposals and bids.

Responsibilities

• Oversee C4ISR shipboard installation projects, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR.
• Lead scheduling, staffing, proposals, and bid preparation for installation efforts.
• Coordinate logistics, material, and equipment for shipyard and field work.

The M.C. Dean, Inc. Maritime Division works at shipyards around the world from our regional offices in Chesapeake, VA, and San Diego, CA. Experience

7+ years of direct work experience with surface ship C4ISR installations that include eight (8) years of experience managing or performing the design, installation, testing, inspection, logistics, resource management, and completion of the C4ISR system installation efforts for U.S. Navy surface ships. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.

At least four (4) years as manager of shipboard installation projects involving multiple systems and in performing tasks to include supervising project personnel, scheduling work, writing proposals, and preparing bids, and equipment and material logistics control.

Qualifications

Security and Work Locations:

• Work is primarily in San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA but you may travel for extended periods to other shipyards in the USA and to other Navy ports outside the USA
• You must pass a background investigation
• You must have a valid driver's license

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required.
