Job summary

Phoenix Group is seeking an Engineering Technician specialized in Interior Communications and related naval electronics for a critical RCOH program in Newport News, VA. You will work closely with Ship’s Force, shipyard teams, and repair crews to troubleshoot, restore, and validate complex systems.

The role requires extensive shipboard experience, a background in CVN Combat Systems or electrical maintenance, and the ability to mentor sailors while ensuring timelines and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in CVN Combat Systems, IC, ET, or EM maintenance and modernization, shipyard experience.

Responsibilities

• Be embedded with Ship’s Force in Combat Systems and Electrical departments.
• Advise on Navy maintenance, repair, and shipyard testing milestones during RCOH.
• Mentor Combat Systems, IC and electrical personnel on restoration and testing best practices.
