Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Perrysburg, OH seeks a Shift Lead to oversee the third shift in a world-class plastic injection molding facility. You will drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements while leading a technical team to meet daily production objectives.

Responsibilities include leading shift goals, mentoring shop floor staff, solving equipment issues, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement processes and capital projects. Strong PLC/automation knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all shift members to achieve production goals (SQDCE).
• Serve as main communication link between shifts for data and issues.
• Ensure safe, quality, and efficient production with proper resources.
• Maintain knowledge of plant operations and production flow.
• Mentor shop floor teams and develop technicians.
• Lead problem solving for equipment issues and capital projects.
• Transfer knowledge through documentation and training.
• Drive process implementation, optimization, and root-ccauses.
