Job summary

CECO Environmental, a global leader in industrial air, water, and energy solutions, is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join the Kemco Systems team in Clearwater, FL. You will fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal parts, operating presses, rollers, shears, and MIG weld equipment in tight spaces, including tanks.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read assembly prints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Trade or Technical School Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Good mechanical skills and basic math.
• Ability to read assembly prints and procedures.
• Punctuality and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic press brake for forming sheet metal and plates.
• Set up and operate plate rolls for 20 gauge to 1/4” plate.
• Set up and operate sheet metal shear; optimize cuts to minimize scrap.
• MIG weld from 20 gauge to 3/8” plate on stainless and carbon steel.
• Understand or learn forming processes for elbows, collars, sleeves, tees, reducers, etc.
• Read assembly prints and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
