Job summary

CECO Environmental Corporation is seeking a Welder/Fabricator focused on FITS and WELLS, including Filtration, Separation, and Assemblies across multiple product lines. You will perform burning, fitting, welding, and grinding of assemblies while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires experience with GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW, strong math skills for precise measurements, and diligent adherence to engineering documentation and lean manufacturing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience or training.
• Strong background in mathematics for accurate measurement and assembly.
• Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings, diagrams, sketches, work orders, and weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Complete Peerless initial and ongoing job training programs, including work functions and lean manufacturing topics.
• Maintain compliance with engineering documentation and meet or exceed the company’s quality thresholds.
• Perform burning, fitting, welding, and grinding of product assemblies.
• Layout, position, align, and fit components together according to engineering specifications.
• Communicate any substandard materials, drawings, or conditions that do not meet company quality standards to the supervisor or lead, and co-workers.
