Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Sr Application Development Engineer in Washington, DC to design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps and SharePoint Online. The role involves translating requirements into prototypes, building responsive UIs, and integrating with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Pass a government background investigation and obtain Public Trust (High).
• Five+ years at Senior Programmer level OR Bachelor's degree plus three years at Senior Programmer level.
• Proficient in SharePoint and Power Apps development.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience briefing project briefs to senior executives.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to submit work requiring minimal corrections.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Build Canvas apps and Model Driven Apps based on business requirements.
• Create responsive user interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Integrate applications with Microsoft Power Automate workflows.
• Connect applications to data sources including Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server and REST APIs.
• Implement reusable components and application templates.
• Enforce role-based security and environment security and permissions.
• Ensure compliance with agency governance policies and security controls.
• Follow federal accessibility requirements (Section 508) and cybersecurity requirements.
