Job summary

Amalgamated Bank seeks a SharePoint & Collaboration Platform Administrator to own day-to-day administration and governance of Microsoft 365 workloads, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams-connected sites. Qualifications

• Five or more years administering Microsoft 365 collaboration workloads in an enterprise environment.
• At least three years of primary SharePoint Online ownership.
• Designing and enforcing SharePoint permission and information architecture at scale.
• PowerShell and the PnP module for bulk administration, reporting, and automation.
• Working knowledge of Entra ID role-based access control, conditional access, and privileged identity management concepts.
• Experience operating within a formal change management and audit evidence regime.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry subject to FFIEC, SOX, or comparable examination standards.
• Exposure to information governance considerations for AI and enterprise search use cases, including content classification for retrieval.
• Power Platform governance and its interaction with SharePoint data sources.

Responsibilities

• Administer SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams-connected site collections.
• Manage Microsoft 365 Apps deployment, update channels, and client policy.
• Perform capacity planning, service health monitoring, and incident response.
• Execute platform changes through the Bank’s change advisory process with testing, approval, and rollback procedures.
• Maintain permission architecture and periodic recertification of site owners and privileged groups.
• Administer external sharing and guest access controls.
• Implement Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels, retention labels, and data loss prevention policies within SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Produce evidence for internal audit, SOX, and FFIEC examination requests.
• Support eDiscovery, legal hold, and records retention requests.
• Deliver enablement and training for site owners on permissions, sharing, and records handling responsibilities.
• Contribute collaboration platform input to governance forums.
