Job summary

Rollins, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior SharePoint Engineer to design, build, and optimize SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration services for a growing enterprise.

You will partner with Infrastructure, Security, Identity and Compliance teams to deliver scalable governance, automation, and AI-enabled productivity across the organization. The role emphasizes site architecture, permissions, governance, content management, security, and operational support, with a mix of on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/IS or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of senior-level SharePoint administration and engineering experience.
• Extensive experience building, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint Online environments.
• Experience designing and managing information architecture, metadata, and governance.
• Experience managing permissions and security models in large enterprises.
• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management.
• Experience with Purview compliance and governance.
• Understanding of SQL concepts related to SharePoint.
• PowerShell scripting and SharePoint automation experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and collaboration services.
• Experience supporting AI-enabled technologies (Microsoft Copilot).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, deploy, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, hubs, libraries, lists, pages, navigation structures, content types, and metadata.
• Design scalable SharePoint site architectures that align with governance standards.
• Administer and support enterprise SharePoint environments for availability, performance, and usability.
• Develop governance processes for site owners and business users.
• Troubleshoot complex SharePoint issues involving permissions, content management, search, site performance, and integrations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, site standards, and support procedures.
• Perform SharePoint migrations, modernization efforts, and content lifecycle management initiatives.
• Manage SharePoint security models and external sharing controls.
• Partner with Information Security to meet compliance requirements.
• Develop automation using PowerShell.
