Job summary

Algolia is seeking an expert for the Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) integration. You will own the architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction, while contributing to other integrations as needed.

You will design, implement, and iterate across the integration lifecycle, maintaining high code quality and collaborating with engineering, product, and support teams to deliver reliable solutions. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) experience, including SFRA, cartridges, hooks, jobs, services, and B2C Commerce APIs.
• Strong JavaScript skills and experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience integrating commerce platforms with external APIs and services.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: automated testing, test suites maintenance, debugging, and clean design.
• Ability to own complex technical problems and implement reliable engineering solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve Algolia's SFCC integration with ownership of architecture and long-term direction.
• Own technical work from design through delivery and ongoing improvement.
• Write RFCs and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Improve reliability and maintainability of the integration.
• Investigate and resolve complex integration issues with cross-functional teams.
• Provide input on roadmap planning, estimates, and improvements.
