Job summary

Fervo Energy in Houston, TX is hiring a Senior Settlement Analyst to own the end-to-end ISO market settlement cycle for our generation assets, from statements to invoicing and revenue recognition. You will reconcile data, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end close while communicating with auditors and counterparties.

The role requires five+ years in energy settlements, strong Excel and SQL skills, and the ability to translate contract terms into accurate monthly invoices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with accounting concentration.
• Five+ years in energy settlements including ISO market settlements (statements, codes, meter data).
• Experience settling long-term PPAs and reading contract language for required calculations.
• Knowledge of ISO market design, tariffs, and settlement timelines.
• Strong revenue accounting: accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly ISO settlement cycle: validate statements, recalc, final settlement; reconcile data and scheduling invoices.
• Calculate settlements under long-term PPAs; translate contract terms into monthly invoices and accruals.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices; review counterparty invoices; track receivables/payables through cash.
