Job summary

Pattern Energy, a leading renewable energy company, seeks a Senior Settlement Analyst to join the Energy Settlements team in Houston.

You will validate CAISO market revenues, perform shadow settlements, and analyze variances across energy, ancillary services, and market products while collaborating with Trading, Scheduling, and Accounting to optimize revenue This role requires 3+ years in ISO settlements, advanced Excel, and knowledge of CAISO tariff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent major.
• 3+ years supporting ISO market settlements, energy trading settlements, market operations, scheduling, or power market analytics.
• Knowledge of ISO settlement statements and charge code structure.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform shadow settlement and validation of CAISO statements, codes, and transactions.
• Analyze settlement variances across Energy, Ancillary Services, Resource Adequacy, CRRs, EIM/EDAM.
• Investigate revenue leakage and settlement discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Scheduling Coordinators, Traders, Asset Management, and Market Operations to resolve issues.
• Develop automated settlement controls, reporting, and analytics.
• Ensure timely payment of power market invoices and accurate downstream invoicing.
