Job summary

Baumueller-Nuermont Corp. is seeking a Certified Motor Repair Specialist in Alpharetta, GA. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, testing, and reconditioning electric servo motors and related drive components for North American customers.

Team-based, with potential field service across client sites. The ideal candidate brings strong electro‑mechanical troubleshooting, meticulous documentation, and customer‑focused service delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of servo motor repair experience.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience testing and repairing mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring, and electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, diagnose, and determine repair scope for servo motors and drive components.
• Assemble, test, and recondition motor systems per OEM standards.
• Disassemble motors for mechanical repairs including bearings, shaft, rotor work, winding inspection and repair.
• Perform electrical tests (hi-pot, insulation resistance, winding resistance) to validate repairs.
• Document inspection findings, repair actions, parts used, and test results for each unit.
