Job summary

Lawndale Christian Health Center is looking for a Senior Services Assistant to support participants in a senior day program. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meal preparation, and program activities, while ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with participants, their family members, and staff.
• Ability to use computer software: email, complete computer-based training, and document in the electronic patient record.
• Physical ability to assist participants with ADLs and stamina to be actively supporting program activities throughout the day.
• Capable of exemplifying the values of Lawndale Christian Health Center in all circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service.
• Help attendees to and from vehicles and different areas of the building.
• Lead and assist with program activities.
• Maintain a secure environment for participants.
