Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with residents and staff.
• Friendly, patient, and dependable.
• Creative, organized, and adaptable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience with seniors is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and facilitating group and individual activities
• Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, and therapeutic programs
• Observe and document resident engagement, mood, and response to activities
• Escort residents to and from activities and events
• Assist with parties, games, crafts, movies, and special events
• Support in-room residents with one‑on‑one engagement as needed
• Coordinate activities with nursing and other departments
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of activity areas
• Drive facility vehicle for outings and events as assigned
