Job summary

A3 Consulting, LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Systems Engineer to manage installation, administration, maintenance, backup, and restoration of a DoD-focused ServiceNow application. You will ensure security controls, perform RMF-related activities, and coordinate vulnerability remediation while supporting DoD mission-critical needs.

The role requires DoD RMF experience, ServiceNow expertise, and a TS-level mindset with a willingness to operate in a remote-capable DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• DoD 8570/8140 Certification Required.
• 3-5 years of experience in System Engineering and Administration with the ServiceNow Platform.
• Experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the DoD RMF process, assessments, and documentation.
• Experience with enterprise RMF compliance tools such as eMASS, Xacta, or CSAM.
• Experience with Nessus, Tenable, or Retina scans.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain system sustainment and maintenance documentation (System Administration Manual, Configuration Management Plan, Continuity of Operations/Disaster Recovery Plans, Technical Design Documents, Maintenance Plans).
• Support installation, administration, maintenance, backup, and recovery of a custom ServiceNow application.
• Design and implement strategies for system security, monitoring, backup, and recovery.
• Support CCB requirements and processes prior to deployments and/or system patches.
• Coordinate vulnerability scans, analyze results, and support remediation efforts.
• Support A&A activities under the DoD RMF to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain high-performing, scalable DoD solutions.
