Role

We are seeking a dynamic ServiceNow Software Developer with strong ServiceNow experience and development skills. You will collaborate with the ServiceNow Principal Architect and Development Teams to manage the overall ServiceNow solution at Splunk/Cisco. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in ITSM practices and SNOW modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide application development services and technical leadership for ServiceNow projects.
• Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain ServiceNow software applications.
• Analyze requirements, and maintain, test, and integrate application components.
• Implement system improvements and handle incidents to ensure system stability within SLAs.
• Develop and implement ServiceNow workflows, including integrations with external web services.
• Create a reusable workflow framework to improve manual processes and automate tasks.
• Guide adoption of ServiceNow solutions and align services with customer needs.
• Define service offerings, SLAs, and key metrics, contributing to the ServiceNow roadmap aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ITSM experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administration (CSA) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
• ITIL V3 Foundation or higher.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX.
• Experience with web frameworks such as React or AngularJS.
• Ability to develop web services including Scripted REST APIs and REST messages.
• Experience integrating with data sources like SOAP, REST, Webhooks, JSON, JDBC, and file imports for CMDB updates.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including logging, unit testing, and code reviews.
• Advanced scripting skills with well-documented code.
• Experience with upgrades and remediation of skipped updates.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certified Implementation Specialist in one or more ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, etc.).
• ServiceNow Service Portal micro-certifications.
• ITIL V4 Foundation or higher.

Salary Range

Base pay varies by location, with ranges from approximately $139,840 to $240,350 annually. Additional incentives and benefits are included, with details available upon offer.
