We seek a dynamic Software Developer/Architect with strong ServiceNow development skills. You will oversee the ServiceNow platform at Splunk, develop best practices, and help translate business needs into platform solutions. Your influence will extend to product integrations and design, impacting customer value.

Responsibilities

• Guide cross-functional planning, ServiceNow best practices, and standards
• Translate business requirements into platform solutions
• Mentor junior team members
• Provide technical development and leadership
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications
• Ensure successful system improvements and stability
• Handle incidents per SLAs and lead maintenance activities
• Implement ServiceNow workflows with external web services (API Webhooks)
• Develop reusable workflow frameworks and improve manual processes
• Define services, SLAs, and metrics with customers
• Maintain a ServiceNow roadmap aligned with strategic goals

Qualifications

• 12+ years of IT and ITSM experience
• 8+ years on the ServiceNow platform
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
• Experience with React or AngularJS
• Knowledge of DOM, web services, RESTful APIs
• Experience with scripting, platform configuration, deployment on ServiceNow
• Management of CMDB, patching, upgrades
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and system integrations
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, Implementation Specialist, Application Developer, Service Portal)
• JavaScript, HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, AngularJS expertise
