Leidos Civilian Health Solutions Group in Windsor Mill, MD, supporting the End User Centric IT Support (ECIS) Contract for CMS, aims to enhance organizational capabilities. Our focus is on delivering end-user centric IT solutions, ensuring a seamless experience with CMS systems, applications, and solutions. We prioritize innovative, proactive, and secure IT integrations, along with streamlining end-user computing devices, conference room technology, infrastructure hardware, software, and user applications across the CMS user base, all while safeguarding data.

Position: Sr. ServiceNow Developer

You will be responsible for configuring, developing, supporting, and maintaining ServiceNow implementations. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will deliver digital transformation solutions emphasizing request fulfillment and automated workflows via ServiceNow Service Catalogs, aligned with ITIL processes like Request, Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge modules.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop custom workflows using modern web technologies.
• Configure and maintain out-of-the-box and custom workflows.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems.
• Prototype new solutions rapidly.
• Design and develop solutions leveraging ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, Knowledge, and ITOM using configuration and custom JavaScript.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Automate and orchestrate tasks.
• Design and build ServiceNow applications and integrations, following architecture best practices in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are on track and meet quality standards.
• Maintain documentation following best practices.
• Work closely with business and IT teams to gather requirements and support ongoing ServiceNow configurations and implementations.
• Develop user-friendly catalog items and orchestration workflows.
• Adhere to coding standards, procedures, and documentation practices.
• Support data migration activities.
• Implement solutions following Configuration Management policies and standards.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified CMDB, ensuring data quality and integrity.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6-10 years; additional experience may substitute for education.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in technology infrastructure design, development, and support.
• At least 4 years of ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5.
• Experience with integrating ServiceNow with external systems via SOAP or REST web services.
• Experience configuring workflows using Workflow Editor.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or System Administrator certifications preferred.
• ITIL v3 Foundations Certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, HTML, AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON/XML integrations.
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

All candidates must have resided in the United States for at least three of the last five years to be eligible.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM)
