The role requires expertise in CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSM, and system integrations, with a focus on secure, scalable IT solutions that comply with state and federal requirements. Contract position based in Florida with partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of ServiceNow platform development experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of IT work experience in systems administration and programming.
• Experience with data extraction, conversion, migration, and validation.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with Microsoft technologies and third-party systems.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB management, and Service Mapping.
• Knowledge of Customer Service Management (CSM).
• Experience with project management and enterprise IT solution delivery.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, state IT requirements, procurement policies, and contract monitoring processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work with leadership, technical teams, functional staff, and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Required ServiceNow certifications: CSA and CAD.

• Configure, design, develop, and maintain applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, conversion, migration, and validation activities.
• Design and implement integrations with Microsoft technologies and third-party systems.
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery to populate and manage the CMDB.
• Implement Service Mapping to visualize business services, application dependencies, and supporting infrastructure.
• Configure and support Customer Service Management (CSM) capabilities and related workflows.
• Implement security controls using Access Control Lists (ACLs), roles, groups, and authentication mechanisms.
• Configure custom email templates, notifications, and communication workflows.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and platform optimization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, information security policies, and IT governance requirements.
• Support project planning, technical documentation, testing, deployment, and ongoing platform maintenance.
• Collaborate with project directors, department leadership, technical and functional teams, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions align with state IT standards, procurement policies, contract monitoring requirements, and industry best practices.

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer / Platform Consultant to design, develop, configure, integrate, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ServiceNow platform development, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Customer Service Management (CSM), system integrations, data migration, and security configuration.

The candidate will collaborate with project leadership, technical teams, functional stakeholders, and external partners to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant IT solutions aligned with state and federal requirements.
