Job summary

System One is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Custom Application Developer to design and implement scalable ServiceNow scoped applications and integrations for a financial services setting. The role requires hands-on development across the ServiceNow stack and strong collaboration with Agile teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of ServiceNow experience, familiarity with AWS and AI-assisted tools, and holds a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building ServiceNow scoped applications.
• Hands-on development with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, REST APIs.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with AWS and external platforms.
• Python for automation and data processing.
• Able to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions with security in mind.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or GenAI.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is required.
• AWS experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Requirements

• Familiarity with AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ServiceNow AI tools, or GenAI coding assistants.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience in financial services or similarly regulated enterprise environments is a plus.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is required.
• AWS experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
