Our direct client, CareFirst BCBS, needs a ServiceNow SME (Business Consultant) — not a developer or admin.

This is a CTH role - 100% remote but requires candidates to be in approved states.

Must have experience implementing ServiceNow at an organization that previously did not have it. This role is not for admin or support but for someone actively involved in implementing ServiceNow.

Purpose:

The ServiceNow ITSM Implementation Consultant will collaborate with vendor and internal teams to develop, refine, and successfully drive the organization's ServiceNow implementation, aiming to achieve ROI, process improvements, cost efficiencies, and an improved user experience.

Essential Functions:

• 40% Provide ServiceNow implementation expertise to validate and improve the implementation roadmap, ensuring proper sequencing, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation.
• 40% Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, facilitating collaboration and ensuring alignment with project milestones.
• 20% Report on implementation progress, risks, and decisions to leadership, facilitating transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform ownership and/or implementation
• Broad experience with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, HRSD, WSD, automation, reporting, and integrations
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills
• Ability to build relationships and drive engagement
