Qualifications

• Formal Education High School diploma or GED.
• Experience 6 months or less.
• Must possess thorough knowledge of safety requirements for welding.
• Completed required training curriculum to be designated a Service Welder III.
• Proficient with safety, oxygen/acetylene welding and carbon arc removal.
• Post High School trade school desired.

Responsibilities

• Conducts all assigned work safely and adheres to safety policies.
• Maintains a minimum set of tools to disassemble/assemble components per spec.
• Attends and completes required technician training classes.
• Prepares parts for welding and performs welding per procedure.
• Keeps work area neat, follows contamination control guidelines.
• Researches repair needs and orders parts; documents repairs in software.
• Contributes to team by completing tasks on time with quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
