Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Lead Service Tech to oversee safety, repairs, and refurbishment across modular units. You will manage the Get Ready flow, determine materials and labor needs, and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, hands-on repairs in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and related trades, and coordinating with branch leadership to resolve issues quickly. This is an existing position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience required.
• Able to delegate tasks to keep production on track.
• Able to conduct safety walks and coach others on safety.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Some computer knowledge and good communication skills are needed.
• Carpentry knowledge is a plus (framing, finish carpentry).
• Electrical, plumbing, HVAC and welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act in accordance with WillScot safety, transportation, and environmental policies.
• Lead and promote health and safety results in the workplace.
• Attend safety meetings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled delivery dates with high first-time quality within parameters.
• Perform repairs/modifications across modular building systems.
• Maintain inventory levels of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Complete yard service tasks and inspections as needed.
• Create floor plan drawings and relocate fleet units within the branch lot.
• Delegate daily tasks to team members and update production boards.
