Job summary
A leading food equipment service provider in Chesapeake, VA seeks an experienced Service/Repair Technician 4 to provide on-site support, installation, and repair of commercial food equipment. Candidates must possess advanced mechanical, electrical, and HVACR knowledge, with at least 7 years of experience in food equipment service. This role includes regular customer interactions, complex troubleshooting, and adherence to safety protocols, reflecting the commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 7+ years of food equipment service experience.
- Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment preferred.
- Accredited Certified Technician (CFESA / NATE / Hobart) and EPA Certification.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for key customer accounts on service-related issues.
- Plan and execute complex technical projects including installations.
- Diagnose and repair errors and malfunctions in electronic food equipment.
