The Senior Service Technician - Projects is responsible for Installation, removal, swapping, disposing of new and used beverage dispensing equipment, icemakers, food and beverage coolers our customers. This position is 75% to 80% traveling in a company provided vehicle for up to 2 weeks at a time throughout Mid and Eastern United States. This role is responsible for surveying and evaluating customer locations ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements are provided. Provides customer assistance in resolving customer questions, problems, or complaints regarding equipment. This is a senior role; therefore, this person will be able to assist others with problem solving.

Job Responsibilities

Contact assigned customers as directed by the Service Manager or General Manager to inform them of upcoming service activities.

Survey customer sites to verify that all utility, space, and weight requirements for equipment installation are met.

Follow all safety protocols related to the installation and removal of equipment.

Maintain a clean and organized work area on customer premises to prevent accidents.

Complete documentation, including verification of the closing calls, invoice completion, asset verification and any required customer documentation.

Accurately record work completed using the company-provided mobile device.

Foster positive relationships with customers to uphold a strong company and product image.

Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys, and installations.

Maintain area servicing and vehicle in a clean and organized condition.

Operate company vehicles safely and comply with all company safety guidelines.

Submit a weekly Driver Report and adhere to the Fleet Manual guidelines.

Submit all personal and company required expense and attendance reports.

Follows all safety standards and policies set by manufacturers and company.

Qualifications

Willingness to learn how operate, maintain, and store equipment moving assets.

Willingness to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, including the addition of water lines and drainage if needed.

Willingness to learn how to work with copper, braided, PVC, and PEX lines.

The ability to speak, read, and write in English is required.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires physical activities including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. The role may involve working in confined spaces, using ladders or lifts, and occasionally working from rooftops. Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) are required and supplied by the company.
