Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Engineering Acceleration team to design and build unified service management interfaces and AI-powered developer tools at scale. You will help engineers deploy, monitor, and manage thousands of change rollouts, while shaping architecture for long-term growth.

Based at Roblox HQ in San Mateo, CA, you will collaborate with global teams, mentor peers, and champion CD practices to boost engineering productivity.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience designing, building, shipping, monitoring, and supporting tools and/or systems at Roblox scale.
• Backend and frontend development experience.
• Extensive infrastructure and distributed system experience.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Experience with Docker, Containers, and CD platforms.
• Familiarity with HashiCorp and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Full stack experience with Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJs, HTML, CSS.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal Engineering teams to gather requirements and develop the service management platform.
• Create, influence, and improve front- and back-end applications that manage thousands of change rollouts daily.
• Collaborate on cross-functional architectural designs for long-term scalability.
• Develop, mentor, and share best practices to improve automation and efficiency.
• Work with managers to shape the team's vision and execute it.
• Collaborate with a global team of engineers to advance metaverse-related tech.
• You are required to be in the office at HQ 3 days a week (Tue-Thu).
