Job summary

The Post Oak in Liberty, MO is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and drive exceptional guest experiences. The role focuses on leading front-of-house and back-of-house teams, maintaining quality standards, and controlling costs to maximize profitability.

You will work closely with the General Manager on financial reporting, payroll, staffing, and training while upholding company policies and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of senior management in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment.
• Strong front-of-house knowledge and financial understanding.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to standards to increase sales and minimize costs across food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Assist the General Manager with invoices, reporting, and payroll-related tasks per policy.
• Maintain professional restaurant image and cleanliness.
• Ensure positive guest service and address complaints to win back guests.
• Manage shifts, scheduling, and daily operations to maintain high quality.
• Provide direction and ongoing feedback, and conduct performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs
• Assist the General Manager in ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Investigate and respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
• Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, planning while ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service
• Provide direction to employees regarding operations and procedural issues while developing employees by providing ongoing feedback, establish performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews

Qualifications

• At least 2+ yearsof senior level management experience in a full-service, high-volume dining establishment

• Extensive front of house knowledge; Advanced knowledge of financial aspects
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic
