Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Merriam, KS is seeking a Sr. Service Desk Engineer to oversee maintenance and optimization of Service Desk applications and related hardware, supporting the Service Desk Manager with reporting and leading cross-functional projects requiring Service Desk expertise.

The role requires 5-7 years of IT support experience, strong ITIL knowledge, and a collaborative, customer-focused mindset. On-site schedule 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; full-time with after-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years progressive IT support experience.
• Demonstrated project leadership with on-time delivery.
• Strong analytical skills for reports and metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Solid ITIL change, asset, incident and device management.
• Microsoft 365 and endpoint management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects requiring Service Desk involvement and provide training.
• Evaluate end-user support tech and user experience trends.
• Maintain and optimize Service Desk tools and desktop security apps.
• Verify patches across the environment and report patch status.
• Oversee conference room hardware/software deployment and support.
• Ensure endpoints have required PC agents and report status.
• Serve as primary contact for Farm/small-location connectivity outside Network scope.
