Job summary

Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology is seeking a Senior Service Designer to help design and improve public services. Qualifications

• Five years of experience conducting user research in cross-functional teams.
• Experience across disciplines — design, policy, operations — to ship effective services.
• Substitutions and certifications may be used to satisfy experience/education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct user interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability testing.
• Map current and future state services across digital and non-digital channels.
• Produce journey maps, service blueprints, and state diagrams to professional standards.
• Translate research into persona definitions, user stories, and backlog inputs.
• Run workshops with agency staff to surface process pain points and gaps.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to align research with mission priorities.
