Job summary

FiberLight, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Service Delivery Department to lead end-to-end project activities including planning, coordination, management, and execution of multiple concurrent, complex, cross-organizational projects/programs. The projects include new product development, fulfillment of new services, network infrastructure, and systems/OSS.

The role focuses on delivering on time, within budget, and within scope with strong reporting and risk management.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of service provider project management experience in networks.
• Bachelor’s degree in business/management or project management; master’s desirable.
• Experience managing in high-stress environments.
• Expertise with Microsoft Project and PERT/ GANT chart creation/planning.
• Thorough knowledge of service provider organizational responsibilities.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong customer management skills.
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams across disciplines.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Visio, Excel, PowerPoint required; SharePoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and manage project plans/timelines with focus on critical path.
• Perform routine data collection, workflow and support analysis.
• Document, manage and publish meeting minutes; maintain action-item register.
• Provide customers, project team, supervisors and stakeholders with status reports and presentations.
• Coordinate, collaborate and/or manage project resources to meet deliverables.
• Issue consistent project status updates to sponsor and stakeholders including senior management.
• Define workflow improvements and resolve issues.
• Serve as the Service Delivery Project Manager for new products/services and live POC.
• Turn over validated POC to the standard Service Delivery team.
