Job summary

Main Street Auto in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Service Advisor to be the first point of contact for customers, coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs with the service team. You will greet customers, gather information, propose services, prepare estimates, and communicate clearly to technicians and clients to ensure satisfaction.

You should have 3+ years of service advisor experience, strong communication, and automotive knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive education a plus.
• Proven experience as a Service Advisor in automotive service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and act as main point of contact for their service needs.
• Schedule appointments, collect vehicle history, and gather symptoms.
• Advise on services, maintenance schedules, and repairs per manufacturer guidance.
• Prepare cost estimates for parts and labor and obtain customer approval.
• Create and manage repair orders and maintain service records.
