Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Server Design Validation Engineer Level to join its US-based team in Fremont, CA. You will validate server hardware, firmware, and systems, lead design validation initiatives, and support the next-generation AI compute platforms in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will write Python scripts for test automation, work with BIOS/UEFI and server management tools, and collaborate with design and component partners to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of server validation or hardware testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of x86 server architecture and chipsets; hands-on with test tools.
• Experience with BIOS/UEFI and server management software.
• Good coding skills in Python or C++ for test automation.
• Skills in root-cause analysis for hardware failures.

Responsibilities

• Data Center Server Design Validation Engineer tests and verifies server hardware, firmware, and systems.
• This is an individual contributor role but will help set up the US design validation team.
• This person will lead the testing effort for next-generation AI compute hardware.
• Ensure servers are stable, fast, and reliable.
• Champion the test requirements document and issue disposition of AI compute platform components.
• Find, log, and track hardware and firmware bugs.
• Write automated scripts in Python to speed up testing.
• Collaborate with thermal and mechanical teams to check system limits.
• Help bring up new server platforms in the lab.
• Drive execution excellence as part of System Integration Test and support cross-functional issues to closure.
