Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a Sr. Hardware Engineering Manager in Fremont, CA to lead a multidisciplinary hardware team focused on AI infrastructure, GPUs, and compute servers.

You will drive architectural decisions, guide board design and firmware, and ensure successful EVT/DVT/PVT milestones toward high-volume production. The role requires a strong track record in building high-performance hardware organizations, excellent communication with customers, and collaboration across US and Taiwan

Qualifications

• 12+ years hardware engineering experience.
• At least 3 years managing hardware engineers with hiring and performance responsibility.
• Delivery of server, GPU, or accelerator platforms into high-volume production.
• Strong board design and high-speed interface knowledge (PCIe Gen5/Gen6, CXL, NVLink, Ethernet).
• Experience leading EVT, DVT, and PVT program milestones and schedules.
• Proven leadership and ability to build and retain engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a hardware engineering team across multiple locations.
• Drive delivery of GPU/compute server platforms from architecture to mass production.
• Provide hands-on technical direction in schematic, layout, SI/PI, thermal, and firmware areas.
• Run design reviews and gates, improving first-pass yield and time to market.
• Act as primary engineering contact for hyperscaler customers and partners.
• Collaborate cross-geo with Taiwan design, operations, and manufacturing teams.
• Support production ramp and datacenter deployments with rapid issue triage.
